ZP CEMENT SLURRY

39.36

ZP CEMENT SLURRY is a two-component, highly flexible, fiber-reinforced, sealing compound based on cement and acrylic dispersion. After mixing the components, the mortar is designed for waterproofing inside and outside and for surface protection of concrete structures against aggressive weathering. It is especially recommended in areas exposed to high intensity water and pressurized water. It can be applied to such substrates as concrete, cement-lime plaster, gypsum substrates, screeds, including those with underfloor heating. When dry, it forms a durable, seamless, flexible, frost-resistant insulating coating.

ZP CEMENT SLURRY

ZP CEMENT SLURRY is a specialized sealing compound that combines cement and acrylic dispersion, reinforced with fibers. This mass is designed for waterproofing both indoors and outdoors, as well as for protecting concrete structures from adverse weather conditions. Due to its effectiveness, it is particularly recommended in areas where there is a large amount of water or pressurized water. In addition, due to its versatility, it can be used on a variety of surfaces, including concrete, plaster, floors and gypsum substrates. Once set, it forms a durable, flexible and frost-resistant seamless insulation coating that effectively protects against moisture and water.

Advantages of ZP CEMENT SLURRY

ZP CEMENT SLURRY is an extremely flexible and water-resistant crack-bridging coating, ideal for protecting various types of surfaces. It retains high flexibility even at low temperatures. In addition, the cement grout is waterproof and vapor permeable, meaning that it protects against moisture, but at the same time allows water vapor to flow freely. It is also resistant to harmful substances such as sulfates and chlorides, and protects against CO2 ingress. Cement slurry has high adhesion to various types of substrates and does not run off vertical surfaces, making it easy to apply. It can be used both indoors and outdoors, on both dry and wet surfaces. It is ready to use after mixing the two components and can be applied by brush, roller or spray. These features make the cement slurry ideal for insulating and protecting surfaces, as well as protecting against moisture and harmful substances.

Directions for use

Substrate preparation

The substrate should be stable, dry or damp, even (without cavities or cracks) and free from contamination, i.e. oil, cement laitance, old coatings and any signs of biological aggression. Dirt and layers with poor adhesion should be removed and replenished with a suitable material, metal surfaces should be cleaned of rust and protected against corrosion. Any cavities should be filled with cement mortar, and sealing tape or collars should be used between the layers of compound in corners and pipe penetrations. Freshly made surfaces, e.g. plaster or flooring, can be sealed after a minimum of 28 days. The substrate should be primed with ZP PRIMER before the application of the actual coating. ZP PRIMER.

Application

After opening the container, pour the liquid component contained in the smaller bucket into the larger bucket and then add the loose component contained in the bag. Mix all ingredients thoroughly with a slow speed mixer until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Then set the mortar aside for approximately 3 minutes and stir again. The mortar is ready for use after the second stirring. A sufficient amount of mortar should be prepared at one time to make it in 60 minutes. High air temperatures may shorten the pot life.

The product should be applied to the prepared, primed substrate with a brush or metal float in a minimum of two working operations.

The second coat should be applied after approximately 4h, crosswise to the first coat.

Protect surfaces covered with ZP CEMENT SLURRY from water and mechanical damage until the tiles are applied. Lay the ceramic tiles after approximately 24 h using flexible and deformable tile adhesives. Do not carry out the work during fog or strong sunshine.

Notes

  • product contains water – do not store or use at temperatures below 50°C
